From May 1 to June 26, 2022, The Westin Tokyo (Meguro-ku, Tokyo) will be offering a Chocolate Afternoon Tea at its lobby lounge, "The Lounge," exclusively on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The tea features rich yet light chocolate sweets perfect for early summer.

In addition, from May 2 to 31, 2022, the international restaurant, "The Terrace," will be hosting a Chocolate Dessert Buffet on weekdays only, offering a rich and refreshing combination of fruits and herbs with high-quality chocolate.

Our executive pastry chef uses generous amounts of high-quality French chocolate and all his skill and sensibility to create delicate chocolate desserts. You can enjoy a moment of intoxication with their sweet, rich aroma, deep flavor, and smooth texture.


Chocolate Afternoon Tea
We will be serving Chocolate Afternoon Tea in the elegant lobby lounge "The Lounge," which faces the garden and features an open atrium and stately marble pillars. Executive Pastry Chef Kazuo Suzuki has created a classic tea stand featuring sweets perfect for early summer, fully capturing the essence of chocolate.

Crafted without eggs, these scones are made with yogurt and buttermilk and paired with clotted cream specially selected by our executive chef. Our drink menu, featuring 15 varieties, also offers special drinks to complement your chocolate treats, such as espresso tea lattes and blackberry hibiscus tea sodas. Enjoy this afternoon tea in a luxurious setting overlooking the lush garden, immersed in the sweet aroma of chocolate.

We offer a wide variety of beautifully decorated glass sweets, such as white chocolate cream with the exotic aroma of passion fruit and mango, a light mousse that enjoys the marriage of raspberry and high-cocoa chocolate, and chocolate cream rich in the aroma of blackcurrant and rum raisin, as well as tarts, baked goods, and drinks that allow you to fully enjoy the taste of high-cocoa chocolate. Executive Pastry Chef Suzuki Kazuo
Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1967. Appointed Executive Pastry Chef at The Westin Tokyo in 2000. He is in charge of all pastry items at restaurants, lounges, banquets, etc. With a wide repertoire ranging from traditional European pastries to original, creative sweets, he is constantly developing new products. He is in charge of the dessert buffet at the hotel's "The Terrace," captivating many sweets fans. Driven by his desire to delight his guests, Suzuki continues to take on new challenges, attracting many repeat customers for his sweets. His classic favorites, such as cream puffs and soufflés, as well as his seasonal new creations, are highly acclaimed.
