A virtual hotel space created by Olympia Le-Tan. Over the years, Olympia Le-Tan has collected and drawn inspiration from accessories from her favorite hotels around the world. She wanted to create her own personalized versions of these treasured pieces. "Hotel Olympia" reflects the vacation experience through a collection of luxury home goods, accessories, and one-mile wear presented in a hotel-like setting. Many of the pieces feature the designer's signature embroidery and are crafted by artisans around the world.
The dollhouse logo was created in collaboration with New York artist Aurel Schmitt. This season's collection features a series of photorealistic "room service" graphics and a playful twist on classic hotel illustrations.
Olympia Le-Tan Profile
After a career in the design studios of Chanel and Balmain, Olympia Le-Tan founded her accessories label in 2009, combining her two passions: embroidery, a talent she inherited from her grandmother, and literature, a passion she shared with her father, Pierre Le-Tan. The brand's iconic book clutch became an instant hit and is now sold in select shops and department stores around the world.
In March 2012, she presented her first ready-to-wear collection. Her collections are characterized by a twist on classic pieces, blending British and Parisian traditions. Olympia enjoys creating themed collections that incorporate elements from the culture and art worlds, as well as numerous collaborations. Additionally, a short animation produced for Olympia by director Spike Jonze was screened at the Cannes Film Festival and received rave reviews.
From 2018, she served as creative director of Marc Jacobs' Contemporary Line for two years, and currently lives in New York and works as an independent creative director. "Hotel Olympia" marks Olympia's first project since its three-year hiatus.
