Founded in Paris, France in 1995, Salon du Chocolat is one of the world's largest chocolate festivals, bringing together top chocolatiers and chocolate brands from around the world. In its home, Paris, it is held annually from late October to early November. At Isetan Mitsukoshi, the event first took place at the Isetan Shinjuku store in January 2003. It is now held annually at Isetan Mitsukoshi Group stores, including Shinjuku, Tokyo, and will mark its 20th anniversary with the next event in January 2022.
The theme of the 20th edition is "Let's smile with the future."
