PINK HOUSE, a brand that took the 1980s by storm, will open a pop-up shop themed around traditional Japanese coffee shops (Junkissa) called "Junkissa PINK HOUSE" on the second floor of the main building of the Isetan Shinjuku department store on September 14th for a limited time. The shop will sell limited-edition items made with original textiles created by illustrator Akira Uno, who added illustrations to Pink House's early designs. Other items in the lineup include early Pink House designs dyed with "black tea" and "coffee," limited-edition reproductions of iconic early Pink House items like duffle coats and MA-1 jackets, and coffee-themed items like cups and sweets, all of which are reminiscent of traditional Japanese coffee shops. Fashion director Sota Yamaguchi will be in charge of overall supervision. The pop-up will be held from September 14th to 26th at Center Park/TOKYO Kaihoku, on the 2nd floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku, from September 28th to October 4th at Le Place Promotion, on the 3rd floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi, and from October 19th to 31st at the concept store on the 1st basement floor of Nagoya Isetan House.
The products will also be available for purchase at the Isetan online store and Mitsukoshi online store from September 14th to November 29th.
