■<HIZEN jewelry>
Traditional crafts of Hizen sublimated into jewelry. Arita ware, Imari ware, Karatsu ware, Ureshino Yoshida ware, and Takeo ware are five types of ceramics that represent the Hizen region and that everyone has heard of at least once, and have long been loved as representative Japanese folk art. "HIZEN jewelry" is a jewelry collection that transforms such iconic Hizen ceramics into jewels.

Though they are all Hizen ceramics, their characteristics vary by region. By expressing them in the small parts of jewelry, the charm of each piece is truly unique. Ceramics, familiar to Japanese people, are expressed in the new category of jewelry. This marks the beginning of a new Hizen tradition.

Karatsu ware (Karatsu City)
Since ancient times, tea bowls have been ranked according to the order "First Ido, Second Raku, Third Karatsu," and are beloved by many tea masters as masterpieces of the tea ceremony. They are also highly regarded as sake vessels, as the saying goes, "Bizen tokkuri, Karatsu guinomi," and there is the joy of discovering a piece that you will never tire of.
Design Point
To maximize the profound feeling of Karatsu ware, we have used brass with a K18 plating to create a vintage-like design.

Imari Ware (Imari City)
During the Edo period, the Saga Domain's official kiln was located within Imari Okawayama, where specially decorated pottery called "Nabeshima" was produced and presented to the Shogun and other families. The current pottery makers have inherited the advanced techniques while also incorporating new technologies, carrying on the approximately 350-year history and tradition of "Imari Nabeshima ware."
design point
The base is made of silver to bring out the designs that are hand-painted one by one. The frame is designed with sharp curves to match the porcelain.

Takeo Ware (Takeo City)
Takeo Ware (Old Takeo) has been produced since around 1590 using techniques such as iron painting, green glaze, iron glaze, brush marks, and hammering to create a wide variety of pottery, including large plates, bottles, vases, tea bowls, and jars. These pots were exported not only throughout Japan but also to Southeast Asia. Currently, there are approximately 90 kilns that make use of this traditional technique, each producing a wide variety of works that respect individuality.
design point
To make the most of the texture of the warm, soft colors of Takeo ware, the design is finished simply with round and soft stud parts.

Hizen Yoshida ware (Ureshino City)
It is said that production began around 1577, and then full-scale production began during the Kan'ei era (1624-1644), when Nabeshima Naosumi, the lord of Hasuike Domain, invited Korean potters to Yoshidayama and had them fire porcelain. Even now, he continues to work hard to improve his skills without being bound by any particular style.
design point
Hizen Yoshida ware is always challenging itself to create new things, so we requested that they create porcelain that resembles brilliant-cut diamonds. The result is a lineup that is like a classic diamond collection.

Arita ware (Arita Town)
In the early 17th century, Korean potter Kinagae Sanbei I (commonly known as Ri Sampyeong) and his colleagues began producing a wide range of pottery, from art and craft items, in Izumiyama, Arita Town.
design point
A simple design has been created to make the most of the impressive patterns of Arita ware. Although simple, the rhodium plating on the brass allows you to enjoy the aging of the base metal.
