To commemorate the release of No Time to Die, the 25th and latest installment in the 007 spy action film series starring James Bond, Leica has announced the Leica Q2 "007 Edition."

Only 250 units of this special limited edition model will be sold worldwide. It is a masterpiece that combines Leica's unique minimalist style with the understated elegance reminiscent of James Bond, the protagonist of the 007 series.
The top cover of the main body features the iconic "007" logo, and the lens cap is decorated with the gun barrel motif known from the opening of the "007" series. Each unit is engraved with a serial number on the back, indicating its rarity, with only 250 units produced worldwide.
The set also includes a case from Globe-Trotter, a luxury British suitcase brand. The handmade case, specially customized for this occasion, is inspired by the Globe-Trotter limited edition collection that will appear in "No Time to Die." Both the camera body and case are made of ocean green leather.
[Passion for Photography and Collaboration] The partnership between Leica and the "007" series was made possible by the involvement of Michael G. Wilson, producer of the series. Wilson, who serves as a producer with his sister Barbara Broccoli, is also known for his deep knowledge of 19th century photography and is the founder of the Wilson Center for Photography. His passion for photography led to the collaboration with Leica.

Leica's partnership with "007," one of the longest-running series in British cinema, extends to the film itself and behind the scenes of production, with Leica cameras playing a major role. In "No Time to Die," Leica teamed up with the film's production team, and Leica cameras appeared as props. Not only can you find a Leica Q2 in James Bond's Jamaican home, but one of the characters, Q, also has one in his London home. Check out the movie to see what scenes it appears in.
