Liam Gallagher's "Pretty Green" pop-up stores open one after another

May 3, 2014

PRETTY GREEN, a British brand founded by former Oasis member and current Beady Eye lead singer Liam Gallagher, will open a limited-time pop-up store at Hiroshima Parco from May 9th to 27th. This spring, the brand also opened limited-time pop-up stores at Kokura Izutsuya and Sendai Parco until May 6th, and has expanded its fan base since Beady Eye's Japan tour in March. The brand, which debuted in the UK in November 2008, was founded by Liam Gallagher with the aim of creating a style rooted in the origins of British style. In Japan, the brand opened its flagship store in Aoyama in June 2012, its second store in Nagoya Parco in October last year, its third store in Osaka's Shinsaibashi Big Step in December, its fourth store in Sapporo Parco in February this year, and its fourth store in Daimyo, Fukuoka in March, for a total of five directly managed stores. The brand also presented its third collection at London Men's Fashion Week in January this year. Along with actively opening stores in Japan, the brand is gaining recognition for its authentic British style, which draws on the history of music and fashion, such as 60s and 70s UK rock and mods, through collaboration between its UK headquarters and Japan subsidiary in the production of denim and other products.
