PRETTY GREEN, a British men's brand founded by Liam Gallagher, opened its fifth store in Japan, Fukuoka, on March 7th (1-12-26-101 Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture). The Fukuoka store, the brand's third street-level store, is located in the Daimyo area, close to Tenjin in the heart of Hakata. The approximately 70-square-meter sales floor is filled with natural light, creating a distinctive Liam feel. To commemorate the opening, customers who purchase this season's items worth over ¥10,000 will receive a free original BEADY EYE single record with a serial number. Furthermore, the PRETTY GREEN Nagoya Parco store, which opened in the South Building of Nagoya Parco last October, has relocated to the fifth floor of the West Building, the main men's floor. The total floor space is approximately 60 square meters, and the space is decorated in a black theme with the brand's iconic paisley pattern.
Pretty Green was founded in November 2008 in his native England by Liam, former frontman of Oasis and current lead singer of Beady Eye. There are more than 10 stores in the UK alone, mainly in places associated with UK rock, such as London, Liverpool and Manchester, and in June 2012 the brand opened its first directly managed flagship store overseas in Aoyama, Tokyo. A Sapporo store also opened in February this year.
