Cartier unveiled the Calibre de Cartier Diver Watch, a diver's model of the men's watch Calibre de Cartier Watch, released in 2010, at the Geneva Salon in January. It meets the eight technical requirements set forth by the international standard ISO 6425, which defines the term "diver's watch." It features features such as 300m water resistance, a unidirectional rotating bezel to prevent malfunctions, a Superminolva coating for visibility in the darkest depths of the ocean, saltwater resistance verified by immersion at a depth of 30cm for 50 hours, an 11mm case, and a fully in-house automatic movement. The watch also retains the distinctive design features of the Maison's watches, such as the Roman numerals and flange on the rotating bezel. A rubber bracelet version will be released worldwide on May 3rd. It comes in three types: steel (810,000 yen), 18k pink gold (2,770,000 yen), and steel and pink gold (1,040,000 yen). In Japan, it will be sold at Cartier stores nationwide.
