Starting February 1st, Shibuya Parco's independently curated "Meetscal Store by once A month" will bring together unique shops from Nishi-Ogikubo. Meetscal Store by once A month selects one area each from Japan and overseas four times a year, and this is the third installment of the "Tokyo/London" series, which launched in December 2012. This "Tokyo" edition focuses on Nishi-Ogikubo Station on the Chuo Line, home to a diverse mix of traditional, independently owned shops and newer establishments, including specialty shops. Five stores will be recreated: "STORE," which sells border items; "Nishiogi Kamiten," which displays and sells paper items; "Nombre/Mizushima," an atelier and showroom for original and fabric goods; "Cikolata," a knitted doll and accessory brand; and "Mies," a select shop specializing in Scandinavian goods. Enjoy a stroll through Nishi-Ogikubo, Shibuya. As part of the "London" project, Mitsukaru Store will be offering exclusive products by designer HIRO, who studied fashion in London and now has his own shop in Harajuku. Items on sale include the "Spiked Army Shirt" (42,000 yen), made from a genuine 1960s US military shirt with disassembled and remade sleeves. There will also be a "Girls Valentine" corner featuring sweets and records selected by popular London accessory brand Tatty Devine and London DJ Sumire. There will also be a tie-up exhibition with "LONDON ART SCHOOL GIRL," a London mook edited by fashion magazine FUDGE.
