British brand Mulberry has released its Spring/Summer 2013 campaign. Inspired by the ethereal colors featured in creative director Emma Hill's latest collection, the campaign highlights key looks from the new collection. Classic outerwear and leatherwork are layered with dresses and fresh prints, alongside iconic British tailoring, coats, and capes. The highly functional Willow Tote, which debuted on the Spring/Summer 2013 catwalk, is also featured prominently in the campaign, along with Mulberry icons such as the Cecily, the Cecily Flower Tote, and the ostrich version of the Bayswater. The campaign was shot by internationally renowned fashion photographer Tim Walker in an abandoned Georgian mansion on the outskirts of London. Set designer Shona Heath created a kaleidoscopic landscape using the sherbet tones also featured in the collection. Art director Ronnie Cooke Newhouse describes the image as "a moonscape underwater, a dreamlike landscape that could exist somewhere in the world," while brand director Georgia Fendley describes it as "a powdery pastel dreamscape inspired by coral reefs and lunar landscapes." Tim said he aimed to photograph the model as part of the landscape, saying of model Meghan Collison, "She's strong, confident, and worthy of the dreamlike landscape, making her the perfect choice for this campaign."
