For the adidas SLVR Spring/Summer 2013 advertising campaign and video, director Willy Vanderperre and stylist Jay Massacret were once again chosen. Vanderperre is a Belgian fashion photographer who has also worked on campaigns for Dior Homme and Raf Simons, while Massacret has worked on campaigns for Y-3 and styling for fashion magazines. The video, which combines their signature elements of stillness and movement, showcases a collection inspired by martial arts, the costumes worn by Brad Pitt in the film "Fight Club," and the human body.

Adidas Silver, a contemporary sportswear collection that blends innovation and tradition, debuted in 2009 as a brand under the Adidas Style division. Since 2010, German designer Dirk Schonberger has served as the division's creative director. "Supported by Adidas' outstanding technology, SLVR continues to push the boundaries of sportswear. We combine performance and tailoring to create pieces that we are confident fit for modern culture," says Dirk Schonberger. The brand officially launched in Japan in the Fall/Winter 2011-12 season. Additionally, adidas Silver will make its first appearance at Pitti Immagine Uomo, the world's largest men's fashion trade fair, which will be held in Florence, Italy from January 8th to 11th, 2013. The brand will showcase its Fall/Winter 2013-14 men's and women's collections in a standalone 100-square-meter booth. adidas' style division also owns adidas NEO Label, Porsche Design Sport, and Y-3, the luxury brand created in collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto and for which he serves as creative director.
