WORLD BREAKFAST ALLDAY will be offering a "Chinese Breakfast" (1,500 yen) from January 6th to February 26th, 2017.
Since ancient times, China has been particularly aware of the importance of food to humans. People typically eat warm, easily digestible foods for breakfast, with porridge being a favorite in Shanghai. This time, the popular "Pidan Zhou Luo Zhou" (Pi Dan Lean Pork Porridge) will be available. It will be served on a single plate with other dishes, including "You Tiao" (deep-fried wheat flour sticks), "Cai Bao" (cai bao) filled with a filling of shiitake mushrooms and green vegetables, and "Xie Cai Mao Dou Chaudong Suun" (Stir-fried Snow Vegetables and Hairy Beans), a simple dish made with pickled mustard greens, bamboo shoots, and edamame soybeans, a popular Shanghai dish. In addition to breakfast, there will also be drinks such as Longjing tea, a green tea that is popular in China, side dishes such as tofu brain, and a variety of desserts unique to China. There will also be workshops related to China during the event.
