Toraya Cafe introduces Valentine's Day menu featuring "Beef Bean Paste x Cacao"

Toraya Cafe will be offering a limited-time Valentine's Day menu using bean paste and chocolate starting January 16th, 2017.

The "Cacao and Berry Parfait" (1,100 yen), available until February 28th, 2017, is a parfait based on chocolate kudzu pudding. It combines Toraya Cafe's classic "Bean Paste [Koshian]," "Azuki Bean and Cacao Fondant," and "Azuki Bean and Cacao Gateau" with raspberry yokan, strawberries, nuts, and griotte sauce.

The "Azuki Bean and Cacao Fondant and Bean Paste [Chocolate and Praline Noisette] Assortment" (2,150 yen), perfect as a Valentine's Day gift, will be on sale until February 14th, 2017. Until the end of March 2017, "An Paste [Chocolate and Praline Noisette] Small" (1,000 yen) will also be available, which combines smooth bean paste with chocolate and hazelnut paste and goes well with toast and pancakes.

Also, Toraya Cafe An Stand Shinjuku is offering "An Paste Kudzu Shiruko and Shiratama Mochi" (600 yen), a sweet soup made with "An Paste [Smooth bean paste]" and Yoshino kudzu, until February 28th. It is topped with two types of shiratama mochi: fragrantly baked plain and covered in brown rice puffs.
