Starting April 1, 2021, Conrad Tokyo will begin selling takeout boxes of its Sakura Strawberry Afternoon Tea at its bar and lounge, TwentyEight. The tea is made with plenty of Japanese strawberries and is infused with the essence of spring-like cherry blossoms, allowing guests to enjoy it at home.
Sakura Strawberry Afternoon Tea Takeout
The original takeout box features a gorgeous arrangement of four seasonal sweets, two savory dishes, and two scones, all decorated in a spring-like style with a focus on pink and strawberry red. Enjoy the taste of fresh Japanese strawberries or hotel-made tea incorporating cherry blossom elements, along with black tea or herbal tea made with the finest tea leaves from Ronnefeldt.
We also offer options to enhance your tea time at home. The "Cherry Blossom Airium," which features soft, pale cherry blossoms placed in balloons, can be enjoyed for approximately three days. The "Cherry Blossom Origami Art" set makes a perfect activity gift, allowing you to create your own beautiful cherry blossoms using soft pink cherry blossom-colored paper and get into the spring spirit.

A thin sponge cake containing almonds is soaked in cherry syrup and sandwiched between buttercream that has the scent of sakura mochi.

Caramel and chocolate ganache is poured into a strawberry-flavored cone and topped with a strawberry marshmallow.
Pistachio ganache and cherry blossom macaroons
Pistachio ganache is piped onto a chocolate sable and decorated with strawberries and pretty cherry blossom-patterned macaroons.
Strawberry Tart
A strawberry tart filled with strawberry ganache and coated in pink. It is topped with strawberries that resemble cherry blossom petals.
