Kajitaku Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a company providing housekeeping and lifestyle support services, is renewing its staff uniforms to mark its fifth anniversary. The new uniforms were designed by Yuma Koshino, designer of the brand "YUMA KOSHINO."
The uniforms combine functionality and style, making them instantly recognizable as Kajitaku staff. The colors emphasize the company's blue corporate color, paired with white for a clean, honest impression. The matching caps and ties also create a formal image, reminiscent of a suit.
The polo shirts incorporate starched buzam (a technique used in formal shirts, where the chest area is divided into U-shapes or squares and doubled to create thickness), and the underside of the chest section is made of a functional material that feels cool to the touch.
The suits worn by apartment concierges also feature a white and blue gradation. The scarves and ties feature the company's corporate mascot, the Almeria flower, creating an elegant, unique look that expresses Kajitaku's signature style. The jacket features a Napoleon-style collar and the Kajitaku logo on the side of the sleeve. The shirt is made of pleated starched fabric. The blouson and coat are primarily blue. Both the outer and inner linings are made of stretch material. They are also treated with odor- and stain-resistant properties and quick-drying properties. "We've designed uniforms for a variety of industries, but this time we focused on functionality and a design that would naturally fit in when working from home," said Koshino. Atsumi Kusumi, Kajitaku's Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), said, "To commemorate our fifth anniversary, we asked Yuma Koshino, a person I admire, to help us create a design that would inspire confidence and inspire pride in working in this industry."
The company, which is part of the Aeon Group, has begun offering household support services such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and shopping, and also operates an apartment concierge business and a retail support business that installs cleaning collection boxes in convenience stores.
