On March 22nd, YUMA KOSHINO's 2013-2014 Autumn/Winter collection was unveiled at Shibuya Hikarie. The designer, Yuma Koshino, based her collection on the theme of "Radical Contrast," embodied the idea of "disharmonious coexistence, born from the intersection of purity and heterogeneity." The first look featured a silky tunic with a geometric pattern. The collar and belt were a muted green, with gold peeking out from the chest. The models wore vibrant green and purple stockings, and each block of their hair had a different color. The collection continued to mix contrasting elements, including knits and crisp fabrics, vivid greens and dark browns. Floral and polka dot patterns, which tend to be girly, were given an ethnic feel by pairing them with leather skirts and oversized jewelry like Kyoho grapes. Different materials, such as fur, leather, and knit, were coordinated in similar colors to create a unified look.
The epilogue is a gold look. A wrinkled gold rider jacket is paired with fitted gold pants. The final look is a long black dress with a deep slit. Gold drips from the chest and large gold-bordered flowers are adorned on the shoulders.
