Yumakoshino presented her 2013 Spring/Summer collection. Under the theme of "New TRIBAL GRAPHiSM," she incorporated ethnic influences into everyday clothing.
The first half of the collection was dominated by pastel shades of blue, pink, and yellow. Floral motifs were ubiquitous, including prints, corsages, and lace. The use of two tones stood out, with dresses and skirts featuring two layers of fabric and linings made of different materials. Dresses and skirts featured two layers of fabric cut on the bias, with variations in size creating movement.
The second half of the collection saw a dramatic shift to vibrant, deep colors, including indigo, reddish brown, and ochre. Ethnic prints included stripes, checkerboard patterns, and circle designs. Items also featured graphic ethnic designs incorporating Japanese wool balls. The tribal influences intensified toward the finale, with looks featuring long necklaces and multiple layered bracelets.
