HARE/PAN, a bread specialty store operated by T.H.S. Co., Ltd., will open a new store in Omotesando (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) at 11:00 AM on March 21, 2021.


HARE/PAN is a bread specialty store specializing in "Jun Nama Shokupan," a bread characterized by its gentle sweetness and texture, made with carefully selected ingredients. Since its launch in 2018, the brand has expanded nationwide. With this latest opening, the total number of stores will reach 130. The Omotesando store will be the brand's first premium-priced store, and will offer "HARE/PAN Premium Danish" in addition to the standard "Jun Nama Shokupan," which previously only offered one type.

HARE/PAN Premium Danish: Harepan's first ever new bread product
In addition to the "Jun Nama Shokupan," which has previously only been available in one type, the Omotesando store will now be releasing a new "HARE/PAN Premium Danish." It was born from the desire to "make a croissant like Harepan," and was born from repeated trial and error. By folding a dough made with a perfect balance of carefully selected ingredients and then hand-braiding the dough into 27 layers, we have achieved a crispy outside and a fluffy texture within. And just like the "Jun Nama Shokupan," each Danish is carefully baked one by one to suit the day, temperature, and texture. A taste that can be enjoyed with all five senses.

Until now, HARE/PAN has operated as a brand under the theme of "affordable everyday luxury." The opening of our Omotesando store aims to broaden the scope of HARE/PAN's possibilities while maintaining that image. HARE/PAN has previously had many stores in rural areas, but by opening in the city center, we hope to demonstrate that HARE/PAN's possibilities are endless.

As this is our first luxury line, we have newly developed the "HARE/PAN Premium Danish," which allows you to enjoy HARE/PAN's deliciousness in an even richer way.
