Le Pain Quotidien revamps its menu, including the popular New York dish Eggs Benedict

Oct 25, 2014

Bakery restaurant Le Pain Quotidien has revamped its menu lineup.

Le Pain Quotidien has approximately 220 stores worldwide, serving organic ingredients cooked simply. Its fashionable presentation has earned it high praise among New York celebrities.

One notable change in this revamp is the change to the recipe for its signature tartine. In addition to the "Detox Tartine" (1,190 yen), topped with sesame and coriander, the restaurant also offers "Grilled Chicken & Gruyere Cheese Tartine" (1,390 yen), "Ricotta & Mushroom Tartine" (1,290 yen), and "Chicken Club Tartine" (1,290 yen). There are a total of six different options, all at more reasonable prices.

Other dishes making their Japan debut include the popular "Eggs Benedict" (990 yen) from the New York store and the "Banana Split Detox" (790 yen) topped with yogurt and turmeric. In addition to this varied grand menu, a "Breakfast Set" with a drink, jam, and spread is available until 11am on weekdays. After that, lunch and brunch sets are available until 3pm.

The new menu will be available at the flagship store, Shibakoen store, from late October, and will then be rolled out to other stores.
