
Bakery restaurant Le Pain Quotidien has announced a new menu item, "Organic Wheat French Toast." It is currently on sale at the Shibuya Koen-dori and Higashi-Koganei stores.
By using a campagne-style bread, it has a crispy texture at the first bite and a fluffy, soft texture thanks to the egg. It costs 997 yen and can be topped with maple syrup, fresh cream, or sour cream, and is served with coffee or tea.
The launch date for the Hibiya, Shibakoen, Tokyo Opera City, and Omotesando stores has yet to be decided.
