Tartines from the popular Belgian cafe "Le Pain Quotidien" [Press Recommendation]

Aug 6, 2013

Wag Inc., which handles PR for a wide range of fields from domestic and international fashion to cosmetics and restaurant brands, recommends the food from Belgian bakery restaurant Le Pain Quotidien.
Le Pain Quotidien was founded in 1990. Its organic bread, which is good for both body and soul, has attracted attention from discerning customers who value quality, and is now available in 17 countries. It continues to be loved by many people around the world. It first arrived in Japan in 2011. Following locations in Shiba Park and Tokyo Opera City, this spring saw the opening of its third Japanese location, the Omotesando location (1F Miyahiro Building, 3-5-15 Kita-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo).
At Wag Inc.'s 2013-14 Autumn/Winter press exhibition, Le Pain Quotidien's signature tartine topped with colorful ingredients added a touch of elegance to the venue.

"Our trend-conscious, lifestyle-conscious guests were very pleased with our visually vibrant and healthy menu, which mainly uses organic ingredients," says Hayatsu of Wag Inc.

All of our bread is made with organic wheat flour. Our top recommendation is the "organic wheat bread," which is also used in our tartines. Made using only flour, salt, and water, this bread is baked using a method that has been passed down since the restaurant first opened. Its simplicity allows you to enjoy the rich flavor and aroma of wheat itself, making it a truly exceptional product. It also has a chewy texture that retains its moisture.

You can enjoy adding various toppings, such as butter or jam, or topping it with ratatouille, making it the perfect dish for a home party.
