California-based lifestyle brand J Brand will release a capsule collection in collaboration with Simone Rocha, winner of the 2013 BFC (British Fashion Council) New Designer Award, at the end of November.

Although Rocha has been attracting attention as a promising designer since her debut at London Fashion Week in 2011, this marks her first denim launch. It's also J Brand's first project with a London-based designer. "I'm thrilled to be working on this project. I was able to learn about J Brand's denim techniques and see how they've been applied to this launch," said Rocha.

The 14-piece collection features shapes and volumes, presented in seven iconic monochromatic looks. Pieces incorporate feminine elements, such as slim cropped boyfriend jeans with ruffled hems and sleeveless jackets with ruffled sleeves, in vibrant hues of bright pink, red, and black. Dover Street Market Ginza will be selling the collection in advance for two weeks starting November 14th. The collection will then be released globally, including in Japan, from the end of November, with some items being available at Isetan Shinjuku, Hankyu Umeda Main Store, Seibu Department Store, aquagirl Daikanyama, and Restear.
