To celebrate its first appearance at "Interior Lifestyle" at Tokyo Big Sight, Walt Disney Japan held a "Disney Interior Lifestyle" unveiling event. Actress Nozomi Sasaki participated in a talk show at the venue. A huge Disney fan, Sasaki was thrilled upon arriving at the event venue, which was filled with Disney merchandise. "The whole space is so cute, and there's so much I want to buy and take home," she enthused. She showed particular interest in kitchenware, and when asked, "Do you like cooking?" she replied, "I cook a lot. I often use tableware with Disney illustrations, like rice paddles and glasses." When she saw the Mickey Mouse-shaped kokeshi doll, she commented, "I'd love to display it in the entranceway to welcome visitors," and when she spoke about the bag, which can be used as both a clutch and a shoulder bag, she commented, "If I incorporate this into my outfit when I go out to dinner with my girlfriends, it'll be a hot topic of conversation." She said her favorite character is Miss Bunny and that she plans to go to Disneyland soon with her best friend Yukina Kinoshita and her husband.
The "Disney Lifestyle Collection" is the general term for products developed by 19 Disney licensees under the strategy of "building a highly sensitive and sophisticated lifestyle brand that goes beyond being just a character brand." It offers a selection of Disney-themed interior goods, miscellaneous goods, stationery and more that are loved by both children and adults.
