"vague border," an exhibition of the 2018 Spring/Summer collection by maice, a fashion brand based on remakes, will be held at Omotesando ROCKET from September 15th to 22nd.
The brand has been sold in select shops popular with discerning young people, such as WALL Harajuku & Osaka, Paruko, and Aquvii. Until now, the brand has mainly focused on remade one-of-a-kind pieces during the season, but has taken a one-year hiatus to switch to seasonal collections.
This exhibition, the first of the collection season, returns to the brand's concept of the "ambiguous boundary between girl and woman," expressing the changes felt within that boundary and the underlying unchanging elements. In addition to the exhibition and sale of one-of-a-kind pieces as in the past, some pieces will also be available for pre-order for the first time. The collection depicts the conflict between the girlish side that every woman harbors within her heart and her adult self.
