Isetan Shinjuku has kicked off an event showcasing the charms of Hawaii on The Stage #2 on the second floor of the main building. The store has invited Hawaii-based coordinator Maki Konikson to hold a talk show about Hawaii with her celebrity friends. The event will run until June 10th. The event, titled "Real Hawaii by Maki Konikson—Discover the Unknown Charms of Hawaii," will introduce the latest resort wear, bags, Hawaiian jewelry, cosmetics, accessories, and art beloved by local women (local girls) who are little known to Japanese people. Brands such as MONI and LANI LAU, which are opening in Japan for the first time, as well as Malie Organics and Dr. Body, will also be available. Additionally, models and celebrities close to Maki will be collaborating with Hawaiian brands to create new products. Saeko has collaborated with Moni to design rings and necklaces, while Jessica Michibata has collaborated with Marie Organics to design diffusers and candles.

During the period, Saeko, SHIHO, and Keiko Sasaki will also visit the store for talk shows about their feelings for Hawaii and their favorite items (7th at 3 PM: Maki x SHIHO x Keiko Sasaki / 8th at 3 PM: Maki x Saeko).

The buyer in charge said, "(In the Green Room) we are exhibiting mysterious collage art by artist Susan Wickstrand, which is made by layering oil and acrylic paintings of Hawaiian landscapes and photographs and finishing them off with a wax covering. This time, we want you to pay attention not only to the fashion but also to the Hawaiian art. Maki will be there every day, so you may have a chance to hear directly about the charms of Hawaii. We hope you will come to the venue, which is filled with beach beds and palm trees, and experience Hawaii for yourself."

Maki works in Hawaii as a magazine and television coordinator, coordinating all filming for local television shoots, commercials, major golf tournament coverage, and even promotional videos. Last month, photos of her spending time with the cast of TV Tokyo's "Moyamoya Summers 2" on location in Hawaii were posted on her Twitter and Instagram.
