During the fair, two strawberry lunch options will be available: the Grilled Lunch with Strawberry Afternoon Tea, which was well received last year, and the Experience Lunch Strawberry Special, which is making its debut this year. The "Grilled Lunch with Strawberry Afternoon Tea" is a hearty lunch set that combines the chef's recommended strawberry sweets with CENTRUM's signature grilled dishes. Desserts, presented in a cute, original bag-shaped stand, are an elegant selection of sweets made with luxurious strawberries that even sophisticated women will fall in love with, including macarons, petit fours, and jellies. The set comes with an amuse-bouche, a choice of main dish, dessert, the chef's recommended natural yeast bread, and coffee or tea. For the main dish, choose your favorite from the seasonally changing menu, such as a juicy steak grilled on CENTRUM's signature charcoal grill, locking in all the flavor. Enjoy your meal while watching the live cooking in the kitchen. This menu caters to the desires of women who prefer a hearty main dish over afternoon tea, but who prefer a hearty strawberry dessert over a lunch course.
The "Experience Lunch Strawberry Special" is a prix fixe lunch set where you can enjoy a combination of starter, main course and dessert of your choice. This year, Executive Chef Philippe Louis is taking on the challenge of cooking using strawberries, with three new dishes being added to the choice menu. The beautiful starter, brimming with the chef's artistic flair, is served with a salad garnished with strawberries. The flavors of strawberries, poached egg and cheese meld beautifully. The main dish of trout is exquisitely grilled to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, and pairs perfectly with sliced strawberries. For dessert, we offer strawberry tiramisu topped with ice cream. It is accompanied by an amuse-bouche, natural yeast bread, and coffee or tea. Philippe Louis
Appointed Executive Chef of Hilton Osaka in April 2019. A French national, he has over 25 years of experience working in luxury hotels. He also served as Executive Chef at Hilton Tokyo and has a deep understanding of Japanese culture and cuisine. He began his career in France, where he studied under Michelin-starred chef Jacques Maximin and MOF Chef Jacques Torres. He then went on to build a reputation in top hotels and restaurants around the world, working in countries such as Canada, Singapore, Australia, and Shanghai. His experiences around the world have given Philippe an international background in recipes and a diverse aesthetic sensibility, which has led to his current culinary style, which respects seasonal ingredients and incorporates local ingredients.
