The world's best paella restaurant "MIGUEL y JUANI" opens in Tokyo Solamachi

World Liquor Importers, which imports and wholesales wine and beer and operates restaurants, will open "MIGUEL y JUANI," a Spanish food, wine, and paella specialty restaurant brand created by Paco Rodriguez, winner of an international paella competition in Spain, the home of paella, inside Tokyo Solamachi® on December 15, 2020. To commemorate the opening, the store will be offering a special price on its luxurious "Iberian Paella," made with a whole lobster.

"Iberian Paella" is a limited edition paella created by Paco Rodriguez to commemorate the opening of his new restaurant.
This dish uses a whole lobster and is packed with the delicious flavor of seafood. The usual price is 6,480 yen (excl. tax) for two portions,
but to celebrate the grand opening, it is being offered at 4,800 yen (excl. tax) for two portions, with a limit of 20 portions per day.

■About MIGUEL y JUANI
Paco Rodriguez (real name: Francisco Rodriguez Caballero), the 2014 champion of the Sueca International Paella Competition, the world paella championship. It is the restaurant brand of Paco Rodriguez Caballero.

The restaurant in Spain, Miguel y Juani, was founded in July 1988 by Paco's father, Miguel Rodriguez, and his mother, Juani Caballero. Miguel and Juani began serving their signature rice dishes in the space where their current bar is located, which became popular and continues to this day.

In recent years, thanks to Miguel and his wife, Paco, and their undying passion for paella, the restaurant has won awards at various national and international competitions, and is an extremely popular restaurant in Valencia.
