Heinz Beck, a master of Italian cuisine and a multi-star Michelin award winner, simultaneously opened two restaurants in Tokyo's Marunouchi district on November 7th. This is the first time that Heinz Beck will bear his name, and the new restaurant will offer innovative fine dining. In addition to original dishes, the restaurant will also offer new creations aimed at Japanese palate, such as "Smoked Scallop and Red Beet Chips" and "Herb and Sprout Salad with Jerusalem Artichoke, Mango, and Pistachio Puree." The signature "9-Course" menu (¥19,000) is available day or night, and features a variety of dishes that showcase the chef's artistic sensibility, including "Amberjack Marinated in White Balsamic Vinegar with Pomegranate Snow," served with dry ice, and "Fagottelli Heinz Beck," a ravioli-shaped pasta dish filled with carbonara sauce.

In addition to a four-course lunch menu (8,000 yen), à la carte orders are also accepted. A jacket and collared shirt are recommended as the dress code for men.

Meanwhile, the all-day dining restaurant "sensi by Heinz Beck" serves contemporary Italian cuisine, offering casual dishes that combine good food and health. Lunch courses starting from 2,600 yen include an appetizer, pasta or second course, and dessert. Dinner courses starting from 4,500 yen include an appetizer, pasta, main course, and dessert. Another unique feature is the tea time menu, available from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, which includes finger desserts and food paired with soft drinks or champagne.

Costume designs for both dining establishments were created by Junko Koshino. The store was designed by Ueki Kanji, who was also responsible for the Paul Stuart Aoyama store and the US expansion of Apple Stores.

Chef Heinz Beck commented, "Marunouchi is a beautiful and historic area. I was drawn to the charm of this place, which has a Japanese feel, and decided to open here. In order to perform at my best here, I have taken an extended leave from my store in Rome for the first time and have been preparing to open in Japan."

It is conveniently located within the Nippon Life Marunouchi Garden Tower, directly connected to Otemachi Subway Station, making it a great place to stop by while sightseeing in Tokyo without worrying about getting wet on rainy days.
