GUESS releases a holiday visual showcasing a mix of Japanese and Western styles, including a tea ceremony at Mt. Fuji and a rickshaw. Styled by Satoshi Hirota.

Nov 11, 2014

GUESS has unveiled its holiday 2014 campaign visuals. For the first time since the brand's launch, the campaign visuals were shot on location in Japan. The Guess Girl models, Megan Williams and Karmay Ngaia, are featured on film. The film begins with the pair crossing swords against Mount Fuji, then continues on a journey through traditional Japanese landscapes, including tea ceremonies, rickshaws, and carp streamers. As the journey progresses, the trees turn red and pink, creating a beautiful contrast with the lustrous leather silhouettes. Pastel-hued fabrics, classic denim jackets, and chambray button-downs harmonize with the vibrant scenery, creating a beautiful blend of Eastern and Western cultures. The campaign was photographed by renowned Chinese photographer Chen Man, with styling by Satoshi Hirota. The campaign visuals will be used in a variety of places, including fashion magazines, the official website, shops, promotional materials, etc. In addition, a wall calendar featuring the seasonal visuals photographed by Chen Man will be given as a gift to anyone who purchases at any store from November 13th.
