FENDI has opened a pop-up store on the third floor of the Isetan Men's Building, focusing on the brand's men's collection. The event will be divided into two parts: the first half (until December 9th) and the second half (December 10th to January 13th), showcasing pre-sales and new items from the Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The first half of the event will feature the world's first Peekaboo bag from the Bag Bugs series, as well as backpacks (¥156,000), tote bags (¥94,000), charms (¥37,000-¥74,000), wallets (¥70,000-¥97,000), and belts (¥49,000), focusing on accessories. Popular items from the Autumn/Winter 2014 collection, including jackets, coats, and accessories, which sold out at the store, will also be restocked. The second half of the event will focus on new Spring/Summer 2015 apparel. The theme for Spring/Summer 2015 is "escape from reality." While confronting the reality of city life, where movement is constant, the look evokes the image of someone immersed in a travel fantasy while listening to their own soundtrack through earphones. The "suit and bare feet" style is the brand's signature message: "You make the rules." The brand's innovation and experimentation with a twist on basic styles is also evident in the finer details. A sandblasted denim-printed leather jacket (¥344,000) has a rubbery feel and is created using innovative technology to create a denim-like print. The densely packed pixels on the bomber jacket (¥2,211,000) are made from tiny square-cut leather pieces stitched together in a mosaic pattern, with ultra-thin leather woven into the sleeves.
