Tokyu Real Estate has unveiled a partial development outline for the Ginza 5-chome Project, currently under development at the Sukiyabashi intersection in Ginza, Tokyo. The concept of the complex under construction is "Creative Japan—The world gets more interesting from here." In Ginza, where tradition and innovation coexist, the complex will create new culture and serve as a gateway connecting Japan with the world, showcasing its charm. The building's beautiful glass walls are inspired by Edo Kiriko (cut glass). While the first floor will feature luxury brands and other street-level stores, the entire 11th floor, from the second basement floor to the 2nd floor above ground, will be dedicated to commercial space. Approximately 120 stores, including apparel, general merchandise, food, and dining, are planned, making this the largest such facility in Ginza. In addition to a new Tokyu Hands store, a new select store by Tokyu Department Store is also scheduled to open. In the building's public spaces, information will be shared to allow visitors to experience the concept, thanks to a partnership with Tokyu Bunkamura. It will be a place where a wide range of categories, including fashion, art, culture, and music, can coexist. In addition, the largest Lotte Duty Free Store in Tokyo is scheduled to open on the upper floors. While responding to this global inbound demand, the mall will provide uniquely Japanese hospitality to customers both from Japan and abroad.
