We'll be holding a "Bread Festival" at the Kitasenju Marui B1F event space, featuring a wide selection of popular and trending breads from across Japan. Some items will also be available for purchase on the "Bread Festival" special website, making this a truly enjoyable event.

This festival will feature a huge collection of trending and popular breads from across Japan that are usually only available online or at local bakeries! We've selected breads from bakeries opening in the Kanto region for the first time and limited-time items, all carefully selected by artisans from all over Japan. We'll also be featuring a large selection of "bread bags," a long-time favorite across Japan. ■ Highlight 1....In collaboration with "BASE," popular bakeries from all over the country will be opening stores at Kitasenju Marui!
Popular bakeries from "BASE," an online shop creation service with a capital and business partnership with the Marui Group, will be opening stores at Kitasenju Marui! This will be the first time a bakery has opened in the Kanto region, and "Bread Festival"-exclusive products will also be available for purchase at Kitasenju Marui. -Example of a store-
Little Princess
They sell bread made with butter from Calpis Co., Ltd., as well as "Heavy Luxurious Apple Bread" made with more than five Aomori apples. The "Apple Bread Cube" made with the mildly sweet "Koizora" apple is an event and online only product!

Donguri, a Bakery in Sapporo
Morning, noon, donguri. "Just like mom's cooking," they offer simple bread made with homemade ingredients that you won't get tired of even if you eat it every day. Not only bread, but also side dishes and salads. Their famous "chikuwa bread" is also available. *First store in the Kanto region

Tokyo Bagel Baguli
Delicious, fun and good for you, these bagels have a chewy texture that Japanese people love.

Mugino, a specialty store for high-quality bread
Our artisans' meticulous techniques make this moist and soft fresh bread delicious even when eaten as is.

■ Highlight 2....Suddenly gaining attention! A huge collection of local bagged breads
This event brings together 12 local bagged bread brands that have been loved for many years in their respective regions, with product selection supervised by Kai Minori, author of "Local Bread Handbook." In addition to the deliciousness of the bread itself, the charm of local breads lies in the stories behind the bread and their adorable, retro packaging. Take photos and upload them to social media, and enjoy the packaging designs as well.

-Examples of our products-
Salad Bread (Shiga Prefecture)
The bread inside is filled with finely chopped takuan (pickled radish) mixed with mild mayonnaise. This is a very popular bread that sells out quickly even locally.

White Sand (Ishikawa Prefecture)
Two slices of smooth white bread are sandwiched together and filled with milk-flavored buttercream. Each bag contains two sets, so the portion is very satisfying.

Bara Bread (Shimane Prefecture)
A fluffy, long, thin piece of dough is spread with a sweet, smooth special cream and then rolled up to form a flower shape. This bread has now become a specialty of the Izumo region of Shimane Prefecture.

Yokan Pan (Shizuoka Prefecture)
A soft and fluffy bean bun filled with bean paste, topped with yokan and vanilla cream. This best-selling item has been sold since 1960 by a long-established company that makes bread for local school lunches.
