Shiseido Parlour will be serving up two types of parfaits in November, each made with a luxurious amount of La France apples.

Nov 5, 2016

Until November 30th, Shiseido Parlour Ginza Main Store Salon de Cafe will be serving a variety of parfaits made with luxurious La France pears.

With its creamy texture, elegant fragrance, and deep, rich sweetness, La France is known as the "Queen of Pears." At Shiseido Parlour, the La France pears are heated until they are at their best, and are then served in parfaits at their ripeest.

The "Yamagata Prefecture Okada Farm La France Parfait" (1,980 yen) offered at the Ginza Main Store Salon de Cafe is made with La France pears from Okada Farm in Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture, and its meltingly elegant sweetness fills your mouth. It is topped with maple ice cream, Earl Grey jelly, caramel sauce, and a separate praline sauce, creating a sophisticated parfait. The "Yamagata Prefecture La France Parfait" (1,728 yen), available at Nihonbashi Takashimaya, Yokohama Takashimaya, Yokohama Sogo, and Nagoya stores, is a parfait made with fresh La France pears from Takahashi Fruit Land in Kaminoyama, Yamagata Prefecture. By combining red wine compote, sorbet, and sauce with milk ice cream, the parfait is finished with an accentuated fragrance and melting sweetness.
