Starting November 11th, Cafe Kitsune, a branch of Maison Kitsune, will be offering a new dessert menu item, "TOFU CHOCOLAT" (389 yen, box: 1,482 yen), for a limited time.
This time, the dessert is made with carefully selected ingredients, including 100% cacao couverture chocolate and domestic tofu, as well as Okukuji eggs, raw sugarcane from Kikaijima Island, and domestic wildflower honey. It is served on a kaishi paper and enjoyed with Rikyu chopsticks, invented by Sen no Rikyu.
It is also gluten-free and free of trans fats, wheat flour, dairy products, and alcohol, making it safe to eat. The rich chocolate flavor and the aroma of soy in the aftertaste create a new fusion of Japanese and Western styles.
Eat-in and take-out are both available, and original boxes wrapped in tricolor string are also available for gifting.
