This is an autumn-only product from Hakurohou, a famous confectionery from Urawa, Saitama Prefecture. The refined chestnut paste is coated in milk chocolate, making it look just like a real chestnut! It has a smooth, fluffy texture that melts in your mouth, and a milky, mellow mouthfeel that is also excellent.

A Japanese chestnut cake is now available from , which has its main store in Tamba, Kyoto. It is made using a generous amount of chestnuts harvested and processed domestically this autumn, and is finished with Sanuki Wasanbon sugar. No matter where you cut it, large chestnuts will pop out, making this a dish that chestnut lovers will love. The elegant and gentle taste created by the Japanese ingredients is recommended even for those who don't usually eat much sweet food.

A soft, crumbly texture



"Noji no Sato" by
Kameya Yoshinaga's chestnuts, with their round shape like real chestnuts and delicious browning, will bring a smile to your face. This simple sweet is made by combining chestnuts and white bean paste and baking it in the shape of a chestnut, and is said to be a beloved autumn treat in its local Kyoto. It crumbles easily in your mouth, and a gentle flavor spreads throughout your mouth.

A Mont Blanc that can only be found at a fruit specialty store


As befits a fruit specialty store, this Mont Blanc makes use of the natural sweetness and aroma of Japanese chestnuts. A generous amount of steamed chestnut paste and fresh cream is squeezed onto the almond dough, and it is topped with candied chestnuts with the skins still on.
