Aug 28, 2020
UNIQLO's graphic T-shirt brand, UT, has announced its Fall/Winter 2020 collection.

■Ryan McGinley

UT is collaborating for the first time with one of today's most acclaimed photographers, Ryan McGinley.

Ryan McGinley is a New York-based photographer who has been described in recent years as "America's most notable photographer." His photographs are known for their delicate and sophisticated quality, and his iconic works, including those capturing the daily lives of today's young people, are incorporated into UT items. The combination of photographs captured from his unique perspective and text graphics has resulted in a new collection with a street-style vibe.

The collaboration collection with Ryan McGinley features six men's T-shirt designs (1,500 yen each). They will be on sale from August 31st at select Uniqlo stores and on the official online site.

The designs, which depict rare, one-of-a-kind battle scenes, are a must-see for fans and non-fans alike.

■Jean-Michel Basquiat x Warner Bros.

Popular Warner characters, depicted in Basquiat's unique style, are here! Jean-Michel Basquiat dominated the New York art scene in the 1980s with his work influenced by art history, music, and pop culture. Basquiat was influenced by DC Comics superheroes and Warner Bros. Looney Tunes as a child, and later used them as themes in his signature works. This time, a collaboration unique to UT is being released that depicts the relationship between the artist and the characters.

The Jean-Michel Basquiat x Warner Bros. collaboration collection includes six designs of men's T-shirts (1,500 yen each) and five designs of men's hoodies (2,990 yen each). Pre-sales began on August 21st on the online website. From September 18th, the collection will also be available in select Uniqlo stores.

■ Mickey Mouse x Keith Haring

These charming graphics, in a pop style, capture the world of Mickey Mouse, which strongly influenced Haring! Keith Haring was influenced by Walt Disney's work from a young age and learned to draw from the book "How to Draw Mickey Mouse" that his grandmother had at home. "Mickey Mouse is the very symbol of America," he said. As a teenager, he dreamed of working at Disney, and this collection embodies Haring's deep love for the character. This collaborative collection includes items for men, women, and children.
