UNIQLO will provide the uniforms for attendants at the United Nations Pavilion at the upcoming 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.
The UN Pavilion brings together 35 UN agencies and 15 UN Secretariat departments to present a variety of exhibits and programs under the theme "Mankind is strongest when united (United for a Better Future)." Based on a traditional preppy style that blends in with the UN Pavilion, the uniforms have been updated to a basic style suitable for today's times, with attention paid to silhouette, details and texture.

High-quality, functional materials have been used to enable attendants to work more beautifully and comfortably during the six months of the Expo. The jacket and pants are made from the same material as UNIQLO's popular "Kandou Jacket" and "Kandou Pants," providing a lightweight, stretchy, quick-drying, and comfortable fit.
The men's shirt is made of a smooth, high-quality jersey fabric using high-quality, ultra-fine yarn, yet has the appearance of woven fabric, ensuring comfort and ease of movement. The shirt is wrinkle-resistant even after washing and does not require ironing, reducing daily care. All women's shirts will be available in refreshing blue and white, inspired by the United Nations. Pair it with a gorgeous scarf for a fun, everyday look.

The chest of the jacket features a UN Pavilion logo patch created by "MADE51," a refugee-run handicraft brand. The logo features a white dove carrying an olive branch, and the leaves on the olive branch feature a design inspired by the goal colors of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This time, the patch was made by artisans, primarily Afghan refugees. In addition to its originality and fashionability, this initiative also embodies the designer's desire to contribute to supporting refugees' independence.
