The Strings Omotesando, operated by Best Hospitality Network Inc., will be offering the "Autumn Afternoon Tea - Royal Violet" at its first-floor "Cafe & Dining ZelkovA" from September 3 to October 31, 2020, to celebrate its third anniversary.

The Strings Omotesando will celebrate its third anniversary on October 1, 2020. To commemorate this milestone, we have prepared a special afternoon tea in a noble and cool autumnal violet hue.

This afternoon tea features Kyoho grapes and purple sweet potatoes, and incorporates autumn flavors such as chestnuts, sweet potatoes, and figs, creating an elegant color scheme. The chef's recommendation is the Mont Blanc, which features the smooth texture and gentle sweetness of purple sweet potatoes from Okinawa. Enjoy the contrast in flavor between the purple sweet potato Mont Blanc cream and the Japanese chestnut hidden inside.

For drinks, you can choose to enjoy as much as you like from a total of 16 types, including black tea, herbal tea, and flavored tea from TWG, a luxury tea brand founded in Singapore, as well as coffee and cafe latte. Enjoy an elegant afternoon on the terrace facing the rows of zelkova trees in Omotesando, where you can feel the refreshing autumn breeze, or in a luxurious space filled with high-end interiors.

He then worked as a junior sous chef at The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo. In May 2017, he was appointed confectionery chef at The Strings Omotesando, where he not only makes the most of the seasons and the flavors of the ingredients, but also places importance on form and silhouette, paying particular attention to even the selection of tableware, to create entertaining sweets that everyone can enjoy.
