UGG Launches New All-Gender Capsule Collection in Support of the LGBTQ+ Community

UGG(R), a global lifestyle brand based in Southern California, will launch the all-gender "PRIDE Collection" with the aim of supporting the LGBTQ+ community based on a gender-inclusive philosophy.

UGG(R) headquarters in the United States honors its ongoing relationship with GLAAD (www.glaad.org), a global partner and non-profit organization that promotes LGBTQ+ acceptance and LGBTQ+ equality, and donated $125,000 in 2020 to support GLAAD's programs that bring about change in culture, such as the GLAAD Media Institute.

In Japan, UGG(R) will donate 2 million yen to the non-profit organization Tokyo Rainbow Pride as part of the sales of products from the "PRIDE Collection," which will go on sale from Wednesday, July 22nd at UGG(R) directly managed stores nationwide (excluding some stores) and the UGG(R) official website (https://bit.ly/2WGHVLq). To commemorate the release of the capsule collection, UGG(R) shot the #UGGPRIDE campaign at "PROUD Prom," which was held at the headquarters of Deckers Brands, UGG(R)'s parent company, in February 2020. "PROUD Prom" is co-hosted annually by the Pacific Pride Foundation and UGG(R). The event invites LGBTQ+ and allied youth from Santa Barbara County and coastal California communities to celebrate inclusivity, diversity, and equality. This year's event, which promotes self-esteem and social connection, featured thought leaders and visibility activists, including actor Tommy Dorfman and LGBTQ+ activist couple Cora Delaney and Kai-Isaiah Jamel, who created a space that celebrated individuality and unity.
