Barbie HARAJUKU (4-28-18 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), an apparel shop themed around the fashion doll Barbie, will begin selling a women's apparel line from September 7th, designed by Onohara Makoto of Motonari Ono.

The concept is "The girl who dreams." Aiming for a slightly more mature Barbie, Ono, who specializes in feminine dress items, was hired. The colors are based on pink, Barbie's main color, as well as rouge and black. Many pencil and cocoon line silhouettes are available. The line is characterized by the use of elegant materials such as lace, which is Ono's signature style. Collections are scheduled to be released for spring/summer and fall/winter.

Price ranges include dresses from 18,900 yen, tops from 7,140 yen, knitwear from 10,500 yen, jackets from 21,000 yen, blouses from 15,750 yen, skirts from 14,700 yen, pants from 15,750 yen, coats from 36,750 yen, and shoes from 26,250 yen. Approximately 30 styles will be available.

The store opened in December last year after i-corn Co., Ltd. signed a licensing agreement with Mattel International, which handles imported toys from overseas.
