m's braque, a brand created by designer Takahiro Matsushita, has launched a new line specializing in business suits, m's braque COSTUME.
Made with their original 100% worsted wool material. The silhouette is based on traditional tailoring, featuring a British-style structured shoulder line, wide lapels, and shoulder width. Prices range from 74,550 yen to 77,700 yen for the jacket and 33,600 yen to 34,650 yen for the pants, with three styles available in single and double breasted styles. There is also one shirt style available for 32,550 yen.
In addition, this fall m's braque will launch a collaborative brand with French knitwear brand Letroyes, called Le Troyes avec m's braque. The lineup includes a Nordic-patterned knit jacket (49,350 yen) and vest (36,750 yen) accented with agate buttons, as well as gradient-pitch striped knitwear (cardigan 25,200 yen, turtleneck knit 23,100 yen).
After graduating from high school, Matsushita trained at an haute couture atelier and began his career as a pattern maker. In 2000, he set up an atelier in Paris and launched M's Black. The brand concept is "real clothing between fashion and classic." Based on tailoring, the brand offers women's and men's wear that incorporates Japanese craftsmanship and designs from European vintage items.
