IDOL holds photo event ahead of new Instax release

Aug 24, 2013

On August 22nd, Fujifilm held a hands-on event for the new model of its instant camera, the Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic, at IDOL, a shop in Aoyama designed by Eiji Hatanaka. The event included a booth where visitors could try out the new Instax's bulb mode, which captures light trajectories, and double exposure mode, which combines two images. The event also featured an "instax Style" photo exhibition featuring photos taken with the camera. Photographers Yoshiyuki Okuyama, HIROMIX, Yasumasa Yonehara, and Tiffany Godoy, editor-in-chief of "The Reality Show," were on display. These works will be re-exhibited at Hatanaka's new shop, ICON, which opens on September 7th. The "instax Mini 90 Neo Classic" will be released on September 20th. The price is open.
