■New balloon "Yayoi-chan" also appears! Shinjuku Creators Festa 2013

Shinjuku Creators Festa 2013, an event that turns the area around Shinjuku Station into a sea of art, kicked off on the 23rd. Yayoi Kusama, an honorary resident of Shinjuku Ward, is busy with events like the Shinjuku Alta, the symbol of Shinjuku's East Exit, being decorated with Yayoi Kusama's polka dots, and the unveiling of new balloons Yayoi-chan (4m tall) and Tokoton (2.4m tall).
■Yayoi Kusama Cafe "My Favorite Me" Extended!
Location: Roppongi Hills Mori Tower 2F, 6-10-1 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo

■The popular restaurant "Clinton Street Baking" has arrived!
Location: YHT Minamiaoyama Building, 5-17-1 Minamiaoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo
Known as the "King of Brunch" in New York, where customers often have to wait in line for an hour, Clinton Street Baking is finally opening its second branch in the world in Omotesando, Tokyo on the 23rd. From fluffy and hearty pancakes to simple omelets made with fresh ingredients, sandwiches, soup, eggs Benedict, muffins, and more, this popular restaurant that has captivated local New Yorkers is finally coming to Japan!
■Independent research through food. Science-based food event "Science Cooking in Rocket"
Location: ROCKET (6-9-6 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo)
A unique event where you can enjoy experimental workshops that focus on the "chemistry" of cooking. A different lineup of impressive artists will appear each day, including the food unit "Gohan Domei," food designer Mokomeshi (Tomoko Ozawa), and HORO Kitchen! The event will run from the 23rd to the 27th.
■ "Summer Party," an event commemorating the 10th anniversary of the launch of "HUGE"
Location: Daikanyama T-SITE GARDEN GALLERY (16-15 Sarugaku-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo)
The venue will feature miscellaneous goods, furniture, food, clothing, books, CDs, and more from brands selected by HUGE and interior stylist Fumiko Sakuhara. Dozens of brands are scheduled to participate, including "C.E," "Zasakaki," "Play Mountain," and "The Tastemakers & Co." The event will run from the 24th to the 26th.
