A new shop, "ICON," will open on September 7th in Omotesando, Tokyo. Eiji Hatanaka, director of the project shop "IDOL" that opened in Omotesando last August, is in charge of overall direction, with Tiffany Godoy and Tomoyuki Yonezu of creative branding studio "EROTYKA TOKYO PARIS" participating as visual identity and total creation partners. The shop is designed to resemble a "house," and is comprised of "rooms" such as a pop-up room that expresses the brand's worldview, a living room, dining room, laundry, powder room, and library, with each room carrying out its own project.
Brands available for men include Kris Van Assche, J.W. Anderson, Ann Demeulemeester, T by Alexander Wang, adidas by Raf Simon, John Lawrence Sullivan, Casely-Hayford, BLESS, Black Denim, Shaun Samson, and Umit Benan. Women's brands include PIECE D'ANARCHIVE, HAIDER ACKERMANN, J.W. Anderson, BLESSE, KAREN WALKER, John Lawrence Sullivan, and BLACK DENIM. The store also carries accessories from YAZBUKEY, cosmetics from NARS, fragrances from BYREDO, and fabric care items from THE LAUNDRESS. Additionally, a pop-up room will feature Kris Van Assche and PIECE D'ANARCHIVE from the store's opening on September 7th through the 22nd. Kris Van Assche will be selling a new autumn/winter collection themed around tea, as well as a limited edition T-shirt (16,800 yen) in collaboration with MISERICORDIA.
Pies d'Anarcive will exhibit and sell pieces from this fall/winter collection, which is inspired by industrial and mining atmospheres, and will also exhibit key visuals taken by photographer Paolo Roversi.
