We asked 10 women in their 20s to 40s to pick up 200ml, 350ml, and 500ml lotion bottles and measure the amount they used per application. The results showed that the 200ml bottle was about three times as much as the 500ml bottle. Some women used up to five times as much. One woman also said, "With a larger bottle, I can get plenty of lotion in my hand without worrying about it spilling over."
