Inspired by the American landscape: UGG + ECKHAUS LATTA global campaign launched

With roots on the West Coast and East Coast of the United States, respectively, and a shared passion for high-quality materials and craftsmanship, Southern California-based global lifestyle brand UGG® and American fashion brand Eckhaus Latta are pleased to announce their second UGG® + Eckhaus Latta global campaign for Spring/Summer 2020.

Once again inspired by the pristine American landscape, the campaign for both brands was shot at Lake Piru in California's Los Padres National Forest and Mount Topatopa in Ventura County. The campaign's imagery, which was also inspired by the paintings of Jean-François Millet and Paul Gauguin, conveys the serenity of natural landscapes, while their distinctly otherworldly vastness and majesty evoke feelings of simplicity, beauty, light and solitude.

UGG® + Eckhaus Latta, consisting of eight styles The second generation retains the distinctive square toe, but uses a variety of high-quality materials and colors to replace sheepskin, creating an unlined silhouette for the spring/summer season. In addition to platform mules and wood-soled sandals inspired by the 2000s, this limited-edition collaboration also incorporates sneakers and leather boots, giving a new direction to the materials that both brands are proud of around the world, creating an effortless, unique, and unprecedented spring/summer shoe collection that brings a new image to the spirit of UGG®.






The second UGG® + Eckhaus Latta collaboration was featured as the only footwear item on the Eckhaus Latta runway at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020. Starting May 28th, the products will be available for purchase at the UGG® Ginza store and the UGG® official website (https://bit.ly/2LHr8SQ).

The UGG® Ginza store is currently temporarily closed, but a reopening date will be determined once the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's state of emergency is lifted. Please check the official website for details.

About ECKHAUS LATTA
ECKHAUS LATTA is an American fashion label founded in 2011 by Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta. The two met while studying sculpture and textile design, respectively, at the Rhode Island School of Design. They split their time between studios in Los Angeles and New York City. ECKHAUS LATTA presents two collections a year during New York Fashion Week, using it as a stage to explore casting, installation styles, and the role of performance.
