Southern California-based global lifestyle brand UGG® and Tokyo-based fashion brand White Mountaineering are pleased to announce their sixth collaboration for Fall/Winter 2022. Following on from last year, this limited-edition UGG® x White Mountaineering collection consists of two styles: boots and sneakers. Continuing from last year, this collection embodies the strong connection between the two brands, blending the appeal of both brands. White Mountaineering designer Yosuke Aizawa's goal in his collaborations with UGG® is always to create designs that reflect his own lifestyle. Combining the traditional silhouette and functionality of UGG® boots with an exciting yet streamlined design, this series, which incorporates new sneaker-like functionality, incorporates the brand's signature essence while featuring colors that blend naturally with everyday outfits. The collaborative sneakers will go on sale on September 24th, and the boots on October 8th.
The UGG x WM CA805 Sneaker, which was released in Fall/Winter 2020 and became a bestseller, has been updated with the sports outsole of UGG®'s new sneaker CA805 V2, which was released in Spring 2022, and the essence of White Mountaineering is incorporated into the design and materials of the UGG x WM CA805 V2. Like the UGG® CA805 V2, these sneakers feature a lightweight, cushioned, and responsive Treadlite by UGG® sole. The internal dynamic support platform ensures a smooth, secure fit from landing to toe-off, providing a secure hold and comfortable fit for all-day wear. The side of the upper features the UGG® and White Mountaineering logotypes, along with a triangle graphic design representing White Mountaineering's brand initials, W and M. Nubuck and long-pile suede overlays add a luxurious finish. The UGG x WM Neumel High Zip returns with an updated upper material from the much-talked-about UGG x WM Zip Boot of Fall/Winter 2021, updated with a soft, waterproof outer layer. To create a more modern and sophisticated design, the shoe features minimal seams and a zipper at the front. In addition to the zipper, the fit has been adjusted, eliminating the stress of putting on and taking off boots that is common with boots. White Mountaineering's classic extra-thick sole is still in place.
