Sakimoto, a high-end bread specialty shop that has customers lining up to get their hands on it, will be selling its "Tamba Black Bean and Mugwort Bread" for a limited six-day period from May 26th to May 31st.

"Tamba Black Bean and Mugwort Bread" is baked using a dough made from a combination of the finest North American wheat and mugwort from Aomori Prefecture, mixed with plenty of black beans from Tamba, Hyogo Prefecture.

Using the Yudane method, the bread dough has a chewy and moist texture. The youthful, vibrant color and the refreshing, fragrant aroma of mugwort are perfectly matched with the large, elegantly sweet Tamba black beans kneaded into the dough. To fully enjoy the flavor of the ingredients in this bread, which has a "Japanese" feel, we recommend eating it "raw" without toasting it.
It is available at seven stores of high-quality bread specialty store Sakimoto: Sapporo Minami 13-jo store, Tokyo Denenchofu store, Odakyu Hulk Shinjuku store, Osaka Hatsugo Main store, Kobe Okamoto store, Fukuoka Fujisaki store, and Kumamoto Hikari no Mori store.
You can purchase it in person at each store or by pre-order. Same-day purchases at each store will be sold in limited quantities from 12 noon each day. You can purchase up to two loaves per person.
Reservations will be accepted from 11am on May 19th at each store, by phone at each store, or via the Sakimoto official app. Reservations will end once the reservation limit for each store has been reached. Please note that pre-orders are limited to two loaves per person.
