JR Kyoto Isetan will be holding the "Bread and Coffee Lifestyle Bread Festival" event, featuring breads you'll want to eat every day, from October 2nd to 7th in the 10th floor event hall. 

This is always a popular event in Kyoto, where bread consumption is always high. There will be a selection of breads you'll want to eat every day, including seasonal flavors, open sandwiches made with colorful ingredients, breads made with tea, and a daily changing selection of sliced bread.

The trendy open sandwiches made with seasonal ingredients feature a lineup of unique menu items that look great in photos. Mercato Piccolo's "Autumn Fruit Open Sandwich" (540 yen including tax), limited to 50 per day, is an open sandwich made with seasonal fruits such as figs and Muscat grapes, topped with fresh cream. PIE & SANDWICH OHSHIMA's "Fig Tartine" (454 yen including tax) features prosciutto and figs, accented with black pepper and raisins. Boulangerie Parisgot x Mariage de Farine, which brings together two chefs selected to represent Japan at international bread competitions in France and Italy, will be introducing the satisfying "Runny Egg and Bacon Tartine" (389 yen including tax), topped with two poached eggs, and the "Mediterranean Vegetable and Cheddar Cheese Tartine" (389 yen including tax).

BROWN BAKERY's "Matcha Ogura Mont Blanc Toast" (431 yen including tax) is a hearty dish made with special brown bread kneaded with matcha and generously squeezed with mashed bean paste and chestnut cream that is flavored with matcha. Only 100 pieces will be sold each day on the 5th and 6th, and only 60 pieces will be sold on the 7th, exclusively at JR Kyoto Isetan.
